Here abroad that word has a connotation, not entirely positive, many times I have felt rejection or anger on the part of those who "help" asking for the longed-for solidarity, I have also felt solidarity on the part of my own, still in the distance closer, clinging to calls, photos or simple objects that make me feel at home, where the solidarity experience is more concrete and real than the one here. It can be the nostalgia for your loved ones, your land, your culture, etc. What does not allow you to embrace this new experience with the greatest optimism.
